A few so called 'friends of ours' decided to send test reels out to the 'Reel Expert' hiding behind a fake name. I spent countless hours changing bearings, washers, gears and whatever else, depending on the model. I was a part of Canyon for a few years, mostly prior to the public sales of them. For the guys who were not around for the Canyon bit years ago. I cant answer emails all day explaining the Canyon Reel reference, so here is a quick explanation as to the accusation here. Just like I dont trust the guy consumed by greed and wanting to control the market. I still dont trust the guy hiding behind a false name. ( a product many others sell too) I hope I have answered your question? I did it purposely to see what the argument would be. Im just trying to get a product out to the fishing public. I dont trash another mans product unless he comes after me and most of all.I dont lie!!!īy all means go pay double and listen to the lies. I post them to let people know i have them.

I post products to give people ideas too. Others may post and expect you to buy it. But not all of us post for these reasons. Others have a new one every 2 months they push and I know it gets old. Have you guys ever considered its being posted to give people ideas or create some discussion on the topic? I do NOT post the latest items that our sales reps push down our throats like others do. The other problem is whenever somebody posts a product, so many of you feel its a post to sell the product only. I asked to be left out of any conversation by this group years ago, but they insisted on branding myself & others as liars, which has been proven false now. I said years ago, this would eventually show its true face and its been happening. Politics and Greed!!! So many of you have been lied to by those who wanted to control the market. Here is the real problem and Im not afraid to say it. ( this effects other dealers who sell the same products, not just me) Dave / Reel Seat is selling these reels too.

There is 1 brand that is still with us, still pumping out NEW MODELS each year and that is CANYON REELS. they would be dead in the water, just like all of the other OEM reels they were compared to. I said from the start parts were changed out on Canyon. Most of the reels that were sent in for reviews were 'prototypes' back then. lets not attempt to make me look like somebody else that has fooled you guys so many times in the past. you need to find an issue still.?
